Corporate immigration, relocation and settling-in services in France: tailor-made support for your talents
ISIPARIS supports the entire relocation journey of foreign executives and senior leaders in France, from the first immigration steps through to the practical details of daily life in Paris. Our services cover three complementary areas: corporate immigration, home search in Paris and the greater Paris region, and settling-in services. They can be used separately or as part of an end-to-end engagement, depending on the company’s needs and the assignee’s profile. Entrusting all your formalities to us simplifies coordination and ensures continuity and control throughout the case, from obtaining a visa to permanent settlement in France.
The right to reside and work in France for a foreign national depends on many factors: the employee’s nationality, the nature and duration of their contract, their level of remuneration, and the legal structure of their employer. French immigration law changes regularly, and mastering it, particularly to obtain a long-stay work visa or a work permit, requires constant monitoring that few companies can maintain in-house.
ISIPARIS manages the entire process, from the initial assessment of the most suitable visa through to the issuing of the final residence permit. Depending on the situation, we handle the following procedures: EU Blue Card, various categories of the « Passeport Talent » residence permit (qualified employee, employee on assignment, innovative company), intra-company transfer (ICT), introduction of a foreign employee, change of status or of employing company, and formalities for accompanying family members (spouse and children).
We advise the company and the employee on which procedure to pursue, gather all the required documents from the various parties, draft the necessary attestations and forms, file and track applications on the relevant national platforms (DREETS, France-Visas and ANEF), and coordinate exchanges with the authorities involved: consulates, visa application centres, and prefectures and sub-prefectures.
Our knowledge of how each of these bodies operates, built up over twenty-five years of handling cases, enables us to anticipate timelines, identify potential difficulties in advance and, where necessary, find solutions to the most complex situations.
Finding a home in Paris for a foreign executive arriving with no local network and no knowledge of the Parisian property market can quickly become a genuine source of concern. The market is tight, property law is particularly complex, and the relevant contacts are increasingly hard to reach, not least because searches are increasingly outsourced.
ISIPARIS provides this support on a personalised basis, drawing on a network of agencies and institutional partners built up since the company was founded.
The first step is an in-depth discussion with the company and the assignee, in order to define the search criteria (budget, location, size, property type, family constraints) and to gain a clearer understanding of the expatriate’s profile and lifestyle, as these are decisive in selecting the properties put forward. We then shortlist the properties matching these criteria, arrange the viewings and accompany the employee to each one.
One important feature of our Paris relocation service: we place no limit on the number of viewings. Across all our assignments, the search is carried out over a period of up to two months, with as many viewings as necessary.
Once the property has been chosen, we handle the preparation and verification of the application file, the negotiation and signing of the lease, the check-in inventory, and the setting-up of energy, internet and home insurance contracts. ISIPARIS offers several service levels (Essential, Standard, Business and Premium) depending on the degree of support required. Our services can also include managing departures: terminating the lease, closing contracts, arranging the check-out inventory and following up on the return of the security deposit.
Beyond immigration and housing, settling in France involves a series of administrative formalities that most expatriates cannot handle on their own, and that the host company does not have the time to take on.
Opening a French bank account is one of the formalities included at no extra charge in all our assignments.
Registration with the French social security system, mandatory for any foreign employee working in France, whether on a secondment or a local contract, is a service chosen by almost all our clients. We handle the entire social security registration file, for the employee and, where applicable, their family.
For families with children, the choice of school is often a decisive question even before the assignment is accepted. We help families identify suitable schools in advance according to the children’s profile (state or private, bilingual or international). Once the shortlist is drawn up, we can arrange an orientation day to visit several neighbourhoods and a few sample apartments, and we handle the scheduling of appointments with the schools on that day.
Finally, we have privileged contacts with specialists (removals, cross-cultural coaching and tax advisers) able to ensure a comprehensive service offering for senior executives on their arrival in France.
